Strong candidates demonstrate:

Personal maturity and interest in leading more inclusively
Well-honed communication and interpersonal skills
A senior leadership role and/or platform to influence systems and culture change
Willingness to self reflect and be vulnerable with peers

Other factors will include diversity in terms of social identity, geography, class background, and sector.
